2012 USAU Conference in Delafield, Wi
Alright Alright Alright the moment we've all been waiting for all freakin' year! Conference son!!!! This was the most beautiful weather we have ever had for an Ultimate tournament and our stupid sunburns showed it. Coming off of last years conference where it was close to 30 degrees, snowing, sleeting, and muddy, 2012 was a major improvement. The team started off slow on saturday despite a Dirty Mike layout on a huge huck. Here are the details yo, so eat them up dudes!
First game against Stevens Point we lost 15-3, honestly we were lazy and didn't show a lot of effort minus Dirty Mike's super bid to start things off.
Second Game against Brodags we lost 15-2, nothing to do with this one, they were just a better team. Our effort was a lot higher than the first game and our flow was ice cold!!!
Third game on saturday was pretty good much better effort and flow and coolness in general. Although we lost to Marquette 15-8 we did pretty well here's the breakdown.
Final game of conference for us was against Eau Claire Eau Zone. By far our best game we had chilly heads but a lot of swilly throws and stupid drops. Ending up losing to E.C. 15-10, they pulled away at the end of the game but we managed to stick with them most of the game.
Overall a good learning experience for our youngsters, we have learned a lot from this tournament, but one thing we still haven't figured out is a good nickname for Latham... and sunscreen.

Someday Ultimate Tournament (Madison, Wi)
The Brodags hosted a lovely fundraiser tournament in the Madison area and here is how it went... SPOILER we didn't do to well.
Lost 5-13 to Milwaukee Black Cat
Lost 4-13 to Eau Claire
Lost to Minnesota Grey Duck... they crushed us but it doesn't count because they are named after an incorrectly named children's game. Get it right! It's GOOOSE
Lost to Stevens Point on universe point... So Close! 12-13
Lost to Kansas State 11-12
Lost to Missouri 8-13
Looking at outcomes of these games it would be easy to say that we didn't play our best but we put forth a great effort and started to really work together towards the end. Next stop CONFERENCE in Delafield, Wi.
